Five Cows Resto and Ice Cream Bar

Five cows

     Crossed out one of the restos in our ever growing list of places to eat today - Five Cows Resto and Ice Cream Bar in Trinoma, famous for their desserts. We rarely get to eat in a resto that offered a variety of dishes, complete with great desserts. We would usually have dessert some place else. This time though, we got to enjoy both the meal and dessert in one place. And that's a treat! :)

THE AMBIANCE

 Sumptuous meals!

     The place feels like your in a dairy farm of some sort, with the wooden furniture, shutters and simple decors. It's appealing to look at as the resto is brightly lit.

     You can't miss the place! It's just on the 4th floor, by the cinemas. It's owned by Nestle, inspired by The Creamery. The specialty is, of course, ice cream -- served in a variety of ways!

THE TABLE

Nomnom

     The tables were simple, white with a weathered look, while the wooden seats are partnered with cushions in purple, blue, pink, and green. Some cushions should've come in cow prints =p

     Five cows offers a wide array of appetizers, soups, salads, pastas, pizzas and tasty main courses, but they're mainly famous for the mouthwatering desserts! :)

LET'S EAT!

     We ordered pasta and pizza first but the server then told us about the promo and so that's what we got. We get a free Rocky Almond Bar for every order of their combo meal. Another complimentary food for us.. Yeah! :D

Chicken and the Sea

     Chicken and the Sea (255php). Chicken leg fillet, pesto-cream, mozarella cheese, breaded fish fillet, aioli dip, fries, buttered vegetables, basil-butter rice. The serving was big so we decided to share.. and good thing we did because we were already satisfied =)

Grape Shake

     Grape Shake (95php). Loved this drink! refreshing, cool and so grape-y Haha! :)

Rocky Almond Bars

     Rocky Almond Bars (175php per slice). Chef's heavenly creation of chocolate and vanilla ice cream, caramel and chocolate sauces, praline, chopped almond over an oreo crust, and top with a generous swirl of extra chocolate sauce. We really liked this one! No wonder it's one of their bestsellers! 'twas sweet, cold, and just perfect! good for sharing, too!

DINING EXPERIENCE

On a diet? Not! :p

     We had a great meal, complete with a refreshing drink and an uber delicious free dessert! There were not many others in the resto so that was good, too! Next time, we'd go back just for the desserts. (especially the flaming ones hehe!) =D

Hot and Cold

     We would've ordered the famous Flaming Alaska but it was too big for just the two of us haha! We'd eat with friends some other time to watch how this awesome dessert is served =p
