Stacy's

Welcome to Stacy's! =)

After seeing and reading about this place in blogs, we also wanted to experience and taste the delicacies Stacy's has to offer. We met up at Trinoma, rode an FX then a trike (after crossing Commonwealth Ave twice!) to get here. Whew! :p

Facade

Al fresco dining

More seats are available outside, under big umbrellas. It's probably nicer out here during night time as it's cooler. And the view is probably better, too, as it is located on a hill.

Kiddie corner

Once inside, you'd feel light and kind of giddy! The place just gives off this happy vibe with all the colorful wall decors, kiddie nook and Heima designed furniture.

AMBIANCE

Counter

The simple, white counter looked clean and well-organized. The beverages were written with colorful chalks on old school chalkboards which looked cute along with the fun paintings! There was also a display for mouthwatering cakes and an eye catching, bright pink refrigerator which added to the whimsical feel of the resto.

Colorful aprons :p

Dream ^_^

The place was simple yet homey and inviting. You'd feel right at home when you enter, especially with the friendly, accommodating and attentive staff members.

Seating

They had simple white chairs and tables, which reminded us of preschool. :p It was nearing Halloween so the centerpieces were Halloween-themed: a clear vase with bright yellow flowers and scarecrows made friendlier and cuter.  Their use of pastel colors made everything easy on the eyes.

Happy Halloween!

THE MENU

On the Menu

Stacy's offers home cooked meals, some consider comfort food. They have a variety of selections like chicken, fish, pork as well a breakfast meals like hotdog and eggs and the like. They also have different drinks you can choose from: hot or cold, sodas, and milkshakes.

LIFE is a piece of cake!

THE FOOD

On our table

We all had rice meals since we didn't eat a decent meal for breakfast. (in preparation for a hearty lunch Haha!) And though we were so hungry, we weren't able to finish the rice since the portions were big! The food on our table looked and tasted so delicious! =)

Appetizer on the house :)

While waiting for our orders, they gave us this free cup filled with goodies: popcorn, strawberry-flavored pretzels and marshmallows! This just got us anticipating our meal! :p

Home-baked Chicken Parmesan

This healthy serving of tender chicken fillet topped with a dollop of tomato, Italian herbs and melted cheese was a sure hit! It was served really hot and you could smell the oh-so-good Parmesan and mozzarella cheese! The chicken was cooked well and the sauce was perfect with it. The corn and carrot siding was also good. The veggies were crunchy and tasty! Two could share this because of the big serving of rice (shaped into a heart). :)

Potato Chip Fried Chicken

Two of kids' most favorite food combined in one incredible dish - potato (chips and fries) and fried chicken! Again, the serving size was humongous Haha! The two chicken parts covered with crispy and well-cooked golden potato chips were tender and large. The gravy was perfect with it along with the soft, plump potato fries on the side.

Stacy Jones

This dish had tapa (they use yakiniku cut US beef) with lots of garlic, scrambled eggs and tomatoes served with garlic fried rice. The beef pieces were not tough at all and easy to cut. The flavor was great, not too strong as expected (the garlic was cooked just right) and the eggs were soft and heavenly, also tasted good! The combination of the flavorful tapa, mild salty taste of the eggs and the garlic fried rice was a feast for the palates!

Pink Strawberry Milkshake

We tried the strawberry milkshake which was a delight! It was so rich and creamy! a beverage and dessert rolled into one! We found it sweet, refreshing and cool!

DINING EXPERIENCE

Satisfied with Stacy's

Our time at Stacy's was just great! The place was nice and homey, the servers were friendly and on their toes and the food... heavenly! The trip and money were all worth it! If you want to have affordable comfort food in a simply but nicely decorated resto, Stacy's is the best place for you! :)
