Tea & I

Tealiciously different! :)

It was a hot afternoon and we were raring for some refreshing time out of the sun. We spotted a small tea house and were soon heading up to see this new place.

Tea beckons us to enjoy quality time with
friends and loved ones, and especially to
rediscover the art of relaxed conversation.
- Dorothea Johnson

Tea & I just recently opened in this not readily noticeable location. It's located at the third floor of Zen's Building along Ayala Highway. They open at 10am until 10 in the evening.

AMBIANCE

Warm & Cozy

The place is simple, with a relaxing ambiance perfect for enjoying your cup of tea. On the left side of the room, as you enter is a table by the wall with high seats. In the middle is a round table coupled with soft cushioned seats while on the far end is a small seating area good for a group of 4. There aren't many decors yet as the store has just opened last March 25.

Good for 4 :)

MENU

On the menu are a variety cold and hot beverages. They have fruit shakes, milk teas, cream-based and coffee-based drinks.

Variety of flavors

We saw on their Facebook page that they also have cupcakes and cookies. Unfortunately though, they were not available when we visited the place. They will soon be serving pasta plates and we hope we could get to try them on our next visit.

THE DRINKS

We ordered lychee milk tea, cocoa with rock salt and cheese and jasmine with rock salt and cheese. Tea is a good drink that promotes weight loss, younger looking skin, lower cholesterol, and blood pressure. Yummy and healthy at the same time! :)

Cocoa with Rock Salt and Cheese

Much like the one from Happy Lemon, this drink is a hit! The sweetness of the cocoa coupled with the salty cheese is an awesome combo! This cup was gone in a matter of minutes. :D

Jasmine with Rock Salt and Cheese

The jasmine tea was refreshing and cool, perfect for the warm afternoon! The rock salt and cheese added a kick to the otherwise plain jasmine tea. Jasmine tea is known for its sweet scent and delicate yet distinctive taste. Studies have shown that it has been proven to be excellent in preventing diseases, increasing energy and aiding in weight loss :p

Lychee milk tea

Both fruity and milky, this was also a hit! The combination of the lychee flavor, milk tea and nata was great! Did you know that lychee is low in calories, contains no saturated fats or cholesterol and rich in dietary fiber? This is perfect for those conscious of their weight! :p We could finish a giant cup of this kind of tea. :)

TEA & I EXPERIENCE

HealthTEA! :)

Ms. Sarah, the owner of the place was very pleasant. She even offered us a taste test of a new drink they came up with and asked our opinion about it. We hope they'd put it on the menu soon because it was good!

We're glad we don't have to go far to have milk tea whenever we want! Can't wait to try their cookies, cupcakes and pasta dishes SOON! :)
